My name is Andrew, and I am a former Catholic Missionary / now engineer, but most importantly I am a recently new husband and father!
Since starting my new job and starting a family, I have become interested in finance. I found that my family and I can live a simple and happy life and we don’t need very much to enjoy all that God has given us. This led me to the FIRE community. However, I want to keep our roots of the Catholic faith and love of Christ in our family and it was easy for me to focus more on money than on God. So I am happy you are here to join us on our search for what it means to save money, spend less, and pursue sainthood!
